What is it?
BiomesThe two biomes, the Humid Biome and the Warm Biome are the largest conservatories in the world. Sophisticated computerised systems regulate the temperature and humidity to optimum levels for the plantlife inside. Education and ArtThe centre aims to educate as well as to entertain and there is a wealth of information about the platlife and the equilibrium and mutual dependence of the human species and the vegetative matter on Earth. The Eden Project is possibly best described as a kind of vast Flora and Fauna Exhibition Site containing an enormous array of domestic and exotic plantlife. In the Eden Project there are currently 1,000,000 plants representing 5,000 species. The centre consists of managed outside areas and huge (the largest has an area of 15,590 square metres) greenhouses called Biomes.
