This former slate mine is now an attraction consisting of three enormous underground caves, and six acres of beautiful woodlands.
The caves include an underwater lake and in the grounds there's also the Enchanted Dell, part of the gardens with a wonderful array of bronze statues and sculptures reached by a walk through beautiful landscaped gardens incorporating water features, and where in the spring, you can see almost 3 acres of bluebell-carpeted woodlands. One of the caverns, "The Rum Store" is now used as an auditorium where you can enjoy concerts and other events in this unique setting. The Carnglaze Caverns can also host group bookings, coach parties and even weddings by arrangement.
